Bain's Discord Rules

This is the list with the Discord rules. Although the punishment on some of these is just a mute, if enough people want you banned a poll will take place.

To join, you must be either:

• Friend of Bain
• Formerly (semi)active on the old wiki discord servers
• Active on the PB wiki and your account must be at least a few days old

General Rules

1. Don't be a dick
   1. Minor insulting (gypsi, roach, fgt, idiot) - Warning, Mute; no strike
   2. Blatant insults (fuck you, subhuman, etc.) - Mute; 1 strike
   3. Ethnic slurs - Warning, Mute; no strike
   4. Ethnic slurs (as an insult) - Mute; 1 strike
   5. Blasphemy and insulting any religion (atheism included) outside #free_speech_politics - Mute; 1 strike
2. Absolutely no NSFW and other disgusting or disturbing content
   1. Sexual discussion - Warning, Mute; 1 strike
   2. Porn, Gore (includes sites) - Ban; 3 strikes
   3. Minor Nudity, disgusting image - Mute; 1 strike
   4. Cringy pictures (esp. with minor disgusting stuff), "scary" and "disturbing" pictures (only if spammed) - Warning, Mute; 1 strike
3. Arguing is not allowed
   1. Political arguing outside #politics - Warning, Mute; 1 strike
   2. Non-political arguing - Warning, Mute; 1 strike
   3. Baiting someone into an argument ("X are actually Y xdd") - Warning, Mute, 1 strike
4. Doxxing a user is absolutely forbidden
   1. Surname/Full name/Location (city/street/house) - Ban; 3 strikes
   2. Face (that has been posted before by the user in the picture, it is your own fault if you post a picture and then complain about others reposting it) - Mute, 1 strike
   3. Face (never posted before or shared privately) - Ban; 3 strikes
5. Sites that contain porn, gore, viruses and other disgusting/disturbing content are not allowed
   1. Porn/Gore/Virus/Illegal things - Ban; 3 strikes
   2. Shock sites/disgusting images - Mute; 1 strike
6. Spamming is forbidden
   1. Spamming bots outside #bot - Warning, Mute, 1 strike
   2. Spamming 1 line of text very fast - Warning, Mute, 1 strike
   3. Spamming a huge chunk of text/blank spamming - Mute, 1 strike
   4. Posting the same images over and over - Warning, Mute, 1 strike
   5. Spamming images very fast - Mute, 1 strike
7. Don't act like a 5 year old kid with half a brain (ask Bain before muting) - Warning, Mute, 1 strike
8. Trying to start a "coup" is not allowed. If you are unhappy with how the server is run please say what you don't like about it and Bain will try to fix it. Punishment: Mute
9. Don't advertise your discord server if it is a topicless or Polandball server (e.g.: You can advertise communist/atheist/homo only servers, etc.) Warning, Mute, 1 strike
10. Don't do irritating things in the voice channels
    1. Screaming/breathing loud into the mic Warning, Voice Muted
    2. Do not mass-skip songs. Warning, Mute
    3. Do not play earrape or non-songs. Punishment: Mute
11. Do not accuse people of being an alt unless they have said it themselves unironically or you have undeniable proof.

What you should do

1. Be nice to others.
2. Suggest ideas and give back feedback about the server.
3. Report bad user and mod behavior to Bain.
4. Suggest on what to add or change in the rules.
5. Keep your name similar to your wiki name.

Moderator Rules

1. DO YER DAMN JOB
2. Don't kick or ban people without Bain's permission unless a rule says otherwise
   1. Kicking/Banning one user without permission - 1 strike
   2. Kicking/Banning a lot of users without permission - Demotion, 3 strikes
   3. Unbanning people without permission and letting them back in without permission - Demotion, 3 strikes
3. Don't do destructive things
   1. Deleting channels, deleting roles - Demotion, 3 strikes
   2. Removing a few roles, removing emotes, mass removing pins - 1 strike
4. Don't ping @here or @everyone
   1. @here - no strike unless spammed
   2. @everyone - 1 strike
5. Don't create polls without permission (especially ban/demotion polls)
   1. Ban/demotion/deletion/removal polls - 1 strike
   2. Emote polls - no strikes unless a poll is already ongoing
6. DO NOT RESET MEE6 LEVELS
   1. One users level - 1 strike
   2. All levels - Demotion, 3 strikes
7. Pin messages that get 5 pin reacts or more
8. Remove the Member role when someone is muted
9. Rules that say "Warning, Mute" mean that you must first warn that user, if they keep breaking the rule then you should mute them
10. Don't mute for very exaggerated or no reasons at all, if Bain says to unmute a person you must not re-mute him unless you have a very good explanation - 1 strike
11. Only Bain can give strikes

Strikes

When you break a rule, you get a strike. If you go an entire week without getting a strike you will get one removed.

How promotion works

If you don't have any strikes you can apply for being Trial Mod. If you go one full week without getting any strikes you will either be promoted to Chat Mod or Channel Mod depending how you did.

TO BE PROMOTED YOU MUST

• Have no strikes
• Have been on the previous discords
• Have at least 100 or more messages on the discord sent

How demotion works

If a mod gets 3 strikes they get demoted and cannot reapply for mod for another week. If they get demoted again they can't reapply for a month, then 3 months, 6 months, a year, etc.
